No Man’s Sky website suggests the PC build will be a few days late

No Man’s Sky may take a few additional days to reach the PC massive, which is probably going to result in several court-ordered anger management sessions.

No Man’s Sky releases on PS4 in August – it hits the North American PSN on August 9 and comes to Europe on August 10, which isn’t much of a difference once you take timezones into account.

Until recently we believed the PC version would release on the same date, too, but an update to the No Man’s Sky website suggests it won’t hit PC till August 12.

It looks to be a regional thing; in the UK, the No Man’s Sky Steam page reportedly shows an August 12 launch, while in the US it still says August 9. Here in Australia where I am we’ve got August 10 – we’re usually one day behind the US just because we live in the glorious future, even though the game may unlock at exactly the same time.

So it seems like the PC version of No Man’s Sky may not launch in the UK, and possibly Europe, till two days after the PS4 version. It’s all a bit muddy and Hello Games hasn’t made any comment on the matter yet, which is making some people very unhappy; as we saw last time No Man’s Sky was delayed, there’s a contingent of eager players with very strong and definitely frightening feelings about this game.

If I had the time and money for this game I definitley would get it, but I'm currently saving up for Overwatch as I have tons of friends who play it and it looks like a great game. And yeah, the game was a little late for PC wasn't it?

Urf I'm still failing to see how you make the connection of it being released earlier for PS4 than PC will end up ruining your fun of not being able to find everything out on your own. So a 3 day wait is going to literally force a stream open on your PS4 and force you to watch it? I don't think that's how it works at all. If anything is spoiled for you, then that is your fault and only your fault. It's called don't watch a stream of it, it's that simple. 3 days aren't going to ruin your life. Get the hell over it and grow up.

Again, you are taking this way out of proportion. It isn't forcing me, never said it was. If I really wanted to not watch a stream over it, then I wouldn't. But I am so excited for the game, that I am. It won't ruin the fun, it will take away from bits of the game... for me. Regardless, the game will still be great, I would love, personally, if I got to play it at the same time. I would love, personally again, to play it before I watch streams over it, but if I can't, I can't. There is nothing more to it. It is all preference, I don't see why you care so much. Maybe you like watching streams over highly anticipated games, for you, rather than playing them first. Good for you, but I am not the same. In regards to you saying you don't think that's how it works at all. You don't know me, at all. I never said it will force me, I said resulting in me. There's a difference. It's all preference when it comes to something like this and for me, I am going to watch a stream over it. Never said it was going to ruin my life, not at all. My life is great and will continue to be great regardless of the release date. I just said I would love to have it release the same day, as would every other PC gamer. Also I won't be watching streams on my PS4, I would be watching them on my PC. As PS4 would be receiving the game first and I don't have one.

When I am anticipating a game to come out on this date, then I kind of want it to come out on this date, especially when I have it pre-ordered. Again, I am not forced to watch streams, but I will.

I don't get it, your complaining about not being able to find everything out on your own because you are gonna watch streams of it? If you want to do it all yourself just don't watch videos or streams pretty simple.

Like I didn't get to see star wars for like 4 weeks and I was super hyped for it and I never got spoiled, not hard to just ignore stuff of it. Don't complain about something you can actively fix,

- I said I would rather not wait a couple extra days to play the game and would, of course, enjoy having it release the same day. (That doesn't mean I wont be buying it, just means I would love to play it the same day, rather than watching streams and then playing it.)

Logically, wouldn't every PC gamer want it to release on the same date? It only makes sense.

Here's an idea just don't watch stream/videos on it, its not like your being forced to its 3 days tops highly doubt you cant find something else to do and its not like you only have an Xbox One and you'll never play it like me iv'e been wanting to play this game since before we got trailers for it, then i find out its pc and ps4 only, so unlike you if i want to experience it i have to watch videos.
