No Man’s Sky Sales Drop 81 Per Cent One Week After Launch

No Man’s Sky is unable to maintain the UK No.1 spot for a second week running, dropping a massive 81 per cent in sales, reports ChartTrack.

No Man’s Sky is the second biggest release for the PS4, topped only by Uncharted 4 which dropped down 76 per cent on its second week, so perhaps a drop like this is not completely unexpected.

F1 2016 claims the No.1 spot this week. However, launch sales are down 32 per cent compared to last year’s F1 2015.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is still going strong at No.3 and Mirror’s Edge Catalyst moves up a massive 90 per cent into No.27. You can check out the full list down below.

Why is this even news? Do you guys not understand what happens after the first week of a game being out? Especially a much anticipated one that has been announced for quite some time. Sales drop, yes... its normal. People that are getting the game, buy it, others wait for reviews and then make their decision. Huge second week drops are expected, it happens in many games (the article states Uncharted 4 as an example) Sales drops like this happen in a lot... a lot of triple a games.
