Pokemon Go receiving 'Buddy Pokemon'

For those of you who are still engaged in Pokemon Go, the game is soon to receive an update allowing you to (sort of) have one of your Pokemon walk around with you.

Here's what Niantic had to say about it:

"The next addition to Pokémon GO will be Buddy Pokémon. You will be able to pick your favorite Pokémon from your collection to become your buddy, opening up unique in-game rewards and experiences. Buddy Pokémon will appear alongside your Trainer avatar on your profile screen, adding helpful bonuses such as awarding Candy for walking together. You’ll also have the ability to change your Buddy Pokémon at any time."

This feature will be very useful, but I think it will take out some of the steam of catching the same pokemon when you can just walk and earn candy. I guess it depends how far you need to walk to earn them.

It's just the same thing. :/ The game was a one hit wonder. It's all ready slowing down. When the game first came out there was people everywhere playing the game on trains busses. Now your lucky if you find anyone playing it at all. Even I don't see it on my facebook anymore, The game is just going down hill from here. What is sad but meh.

I've noticed that it does get boring. The pokemon are always the same. Need more of them.


When gen 2 comes along it should hype the game back up a little.
