Microsoft taunts Sony over PS4 Pro

After Sony revealed the PlayStation 4 Pro, Microsoft's official UK Xbox twitter account teased Sony for all the things the PS4 Pro didn't feature that the Xbox One S does. Of course, Xbox didn't outright call out Sony... it can be pretty much inferred from the points they chose to highlight.

The PS4 Pro will not have a 4K Blue-Ray player, the Xbox One S does. The Xbox One S starts at $299, while the PS4 Pro sits at $400. The PS4 Pro is bigger than the original PS4, while the Xbox One S is smaller than the original Xbox One.

Of course, both consoles will see 4K streaming and HDR gaming (the greatest games part is negligible), depending on your TV.

The tease didn't stop there, Microsoft added to it today when more news was revealed.

Then after Sony rejected Bethesda's initiative to add mod support on the PS4 for Fallout 4 and Skyrim, they added to that tweet. They also went on to poke at how the PS4 still isn't backward compatible and that a study named Xbox Live the fastest and most reliable network.

LOL Sweet sweet revenge Microsoft must be thinking, but having the mod support as features is kinda misleading seeing how its one game and wasnt really them who implemented it but Bethesda.

Back when both consoles were releasing I chose a PS4 and don't regret that decision. Now I'm going to go with a Xbox One S and I really doubt that I will regret this new decision. I'm glad to be able to go back to a xbox after they fixed all of their original issues.

Well I'm not surprised Sony did mock the Xbox one when they first announced it, The PS4 Pro really doesn't sound that special imo.

Oh joy, Now all the fan boys are going to come back to Xbox. I think the Xbox one was better off without them tbh, PS4 was doing good at first cuz Xbox messed up and now Ps4 messed up and Xbox is doing good. It's like watching 2 kids fighting over a toy.

I love both Microsoft with the Xbox One, and Sony with the Playstation 4. But I think they really screwed up with the PS4 Pro, yeah, I understand why they didn't beef the hardware up as much as Microsoft is gonna do with the Xbox One. They didn't want the price to be too high, which is understandable, but they didn't really add anything all the special to the PS4 Pro, like the 4K blu-ray. If you wanted to entice people to buy the PS4 pro, then they should've done something besides beef up the hardware in it. Besides, I don't think it's that much of an upgrade over the original. I'll probably just keep my original PS4.

How many people do you know that own a 4k tv? I'm guessing that number is very low compared to the people that own a very nice 1080p tvs
