Xbox’s Play Anywhere launches with ReCore

ReCore kicks off the Play Anywhere program. More titles are on the way.

ReCore is out today and accompanying its launch is the start of the Xbox Play Anywhere program.

Microsoft’s cross-buy service basically gives you two copies of a game when you buy it digitally, one for your Xbox One and another for Windows 10. All DLC, save files, and achievements are carried across platforms.

ReCore is the first on the qualifying list of titles, with Forza Horizon 3 following shortly after at the end of September.

Here’s the list of qualifying games:

Forza Horizon 3
Gears of War 4
Sea of Thieves
Halo Wars 2
Scalebound
Killer Instinct – Season 3
State of Decay 2
Ark: Survival Evolved
Cuphead
We Happy Few
Crackdown 3

This should be pretty cool, i have been playing recore lately so whenever i build my PC i will be playing it on PC

This is going to be nice for State of Decay 2 and Halo Wars 2. I haven't seen much gameplay other than a trailer or two but it looks pretty sweet. I'm hoping it's better than the first. But anyways, nice to see Xbox Play Anywhere is launching with big named titles.

OT: I want to get recore but I'm just going to wait when it's cheaper. I'm looking forward to Gears and Crackdown .

I heard the console version of Recore is meh but the PC version is bareable. Im just pumped for that Forza Horizon 3... I wonder if modded PC cars can be with non console card?

On topic..These are good games. I'm really excited for Forza Horizon *.* Less than a week to go(For Ultimate Edition)
