Call of Duty: World at War is now backwards compatible on Xbox One

Microsoft announced today that Call of Duty: World at War is now backwards compatible on Xbox One. Call of Duty 3 was announced just last week. There is now a total of four backwards compatible Call of Duty titles on Xbox One.

Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty: World at War, and Call of Duty Black Ops are the four Call of Duty titles available on Xbox One.

Larry Hyrb also made note that all backwards compatible Call of Duty games can now be directly purchased through the Xbox One.

This is great news! Hopefully they carry on bringing these old CODs and good games back in backwards compatibility.

Hopefully mw2 and mw3 come compatible but and they got remaster games that compatible like saints row 4 and a other one

Jay I think it's crazy how they expect us to pay £20 for it. Can buy the game disk for like £5. Another rip off.


I know it's such a terrible thing when someone provides a service and expects compensation. its actually pretty funny there is still a cod war. No one realizes that they are a for profit company. Milk it until the end, just like I would do. By the time people realize they just spent 60$ for 3 years straight on the same game it's too late. They already got you.

I think they wont be allowed to do the Modern Warfare's since they might be remaking them all, but hopefully BO2.


You don't know that and even if they remaster it they can still add it to the compatible list like for instance Gears of war.
