An example is Lost Odyssey, backward compatible game that can be played on Xbox One only if they have the physical version, but can not be acquired digitally. Faced with this situation, Spencer mentioned that are trying to find a solution.
In previous interviews, the company said that it was technically impossible to make Xbox 360 games that use multiple discs compatible with Xbox One. A representative for Microsoft told Eurogamer last November that the company was actively working on multi-disc support, however.
Other notable multi-disc releases on Xbox 360 include role-playing games like Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey. Mass Effect 2 and 3 also use multiple discs; the first game is backward compatible on Xbox One already.
