Black Ops 2 revealed for Xbox One Backwards Compatibility?

A recent error was spotted on an Xbox website that listed the popular COD title as a Backwards Compatible game, soon to be made available.

And one fan checking it over appeared to find something very interesting, that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 had been listed as a Deals with Gold offer alongside other titles.

Black Ops 2 for Xbox One Backwards Compatibility could be found nestled between Black Ops and the Black Op 3 DLC options, along with Call of Duty Classic.

Deals with Gold usually includes a range of discounts on both Xbox One and Xbox 360 games, however, this week also included Black Ops 2 listed as part of the BC program.

This has now been changed but it didn’t stop fans from asking what it meant.

After one player asked if Black Ops 2 could be announced as Backwards Compatible on Tuesday, October 11, Xbox's Larry Hryb was forced to disappoint.

“That was my error. Sorry. Not coming to BC tomorrow,” Hryb replied.

However, even though Black Ops 2 will not be made Backwards Compatible tomorrow, Hryb didn’t rule out its eventual inclusion.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 remains the most requested Backwards Compatibility title from the Xbox 360, with a total vote count of 193,000.

I highly doubt this will hit BC. Due to high level of it being modded on 360 right now. And also COD 4 being sold at a stand alone. Why would they bring it out so soon...doesn't make sense.

Sleeping dogs was remastered plus its Activision so of course itll be remastered if they get even the slightest hint of profit.

Wouldn't doubt it's in the near future of backwards compatibility, but the only reason why it has that much votes is because trickshotting really blew up in that era thanks to all the mlg faze kids and all the 12 year olds that wanna be just like them. Most of the OG's from Cod4 & Mw2 days don't even play anymore, if they did the votes would be much much higher for mw2. Heck I know some people from back in the day that are finally getting back into gaming and buying a Xbox One just because of Cod4 Remastered. It is what it is though.

It's not an old game therefore it wouldn't make sense for a remaster unless its a good few years down the line.
