Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Weapon Crafting Detailed In New Video

Ahead of this weekend's beta for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Activision pushed out a video explaining how the game's new weapon-crafting system works.

You'll still unlock weapons for use in multiplayer by leveling up, as has been tradition in CoD games since Modern Warfare. In addition to that system, you'll unlock special prototypes that come in three levels: Common, Rare, and Legendary. Every weapon has a unique perk, which take different forms such as rewarding players who get kill streaks at or above certain numbers.

Besides unlocking weapon prototypes, you'll be able to craft them by collecting salvage "in a variety of ways," per the video.

not going to lie after playing the beta is was an alright feature. But I just think its a lot harder to receive salvage in the game.

If I knew no better I'd say this was a Destiny/Halo hybrid, I'm sure someone will enjoy it though.

Maj Imo, just doesn't look like call of duty anymore

It hasn't looked like COD for awhile, although depending upon when you started playing it could be different.

This does bring back some memories.. game looks the same as they always do. I do like how there is more customization that can be done to weapons besides camo..
