Xbox One Outsells PS4 For the Third Month in a Row

Xbox One seems to be holding fast on its momentum, as today Microsoft announced that the console was the best selling in the US for the third month in a row according to NPD, and it also grabbed a win in the UK according to GfK Entertainment.

We also learn that the console was the only current-gen console to grow yea-on-year in September in the United States, Australia, the UK and other countries around the world.

Forza Horizon 3 was also the best selling first party title in the US, UK and Australia. The list of stats also includes a 57% increase year-on-year of unique multiplayer users on Xbox Live.

It’s interesting to see how the Xbox One managed to hold on to the top spot despite the release of the slimmer CUH-2000 PS4. The coming months will also be interesting, and we’ll see if the momentum will stay on Microsoft’s side even in October and November, with Sony launching PlayStation VR and the PS4 Pro in close succession.

Skates I believe Xbox is doing well because of the bc games that are coming out. It's really fun playing old games for a change.

I've got a £400/£500 computer that can run most high end games better than the Next Gen consoles.


Not to forget the amount of money saved from buying games from Key places like G2A etc. (And torrenting)
