Hello Games Working on New No Man’s Sky Update

No Man’s Sky looks set to receive a new update soon, after the developer branch of the Steam version of the game was updated earlier today.

The controversial space exploration title received an extensive update in December in the form of the 1.1 Foundation Update, which added a variety of game modes – including creative and survival – in addition to base-building, farming, a photo mode and the ability to purchase storage freighters.

The Foundation Update was followed up with a couple of bug fixes last month, and it remains unclear as to whether or not the updated internal version of the game currently being tested is simply another minor patch or something much more substantive.

Until there is some form of Multiplayer, this game will never reach it's potential. It's a shame really.

the latest update they did with being able to build your own house still wasnt good for me. I want to see multiplayer like they said in the release of the game but still havent saw that yet. but seeing this update it doesnt look like anything that will make me play more

I feel the same way about divison as I do about this game... they waited too long to make the game what it should have been. If anyone still regularly plays it then good on em, I will not be picking this game back up.

If they just add a multiplayer support where you can see other people and hell survive together, this wouldnt be a bad game. Played a little ever since their last update and i do like the way they are going but they NEED to make this a true multiplayer game. Now its still boring to me but i hope they take all the criticism they got in the beginning and prove some people wrong that they can actually make a decent game.

The only reason I'd be interested in picking this game up and attempting to play it again, is to get all the trophies on PSN. Other than that, I am done with this game. If they release any more games in the future, I will refuse to buy the game no matter how interesting it looks. Because I have lost all trust in Hello Games, No Man's Sky was nothing but a big lie and scam, and I have no trust in Hello Games.

I'm still looking forward to seeing what they will add to the game. I didn't follow the hype train, so my faith in the game hasn't been shattered as it was for most people. I hope the developers can give me even more reasons to pick up the game and take it out for a spin
