Bungie: Don't listen to Major Nelson, Reach is number one on Xbox LIVE

Bungie has posted up a little note regarding the 'demise' of Halo Reach. This comes following a Major Nelson posting that Reach was number 3 in the LIVE most played charts. Unsurprisngly, this was actually false information, Major Nelson got it wrong and Reach is the top played LIVE title right now. Bungie said "The “news” spread far and wide like the fifth shot from your DMR (I see you out there spamming the trigger, Annie Oakley), but it turned out that reports of Halo: Reach’s demise had been greatly exaggerated. Major Nelson quickly made good with a retraction, noting that the LIVE Activity chart included a “manual reporting error,” and further remarking that Halo: Reach has now held the number one spot on the Xbox LIVE charts for a full seven days running."

Major be hatin!! I'm guessing the guy is a Call of Duty fan as every time I see a user with his gamer card on TTG it says Moder Warfare 2 or Call of Duty 4. Great article though!
