The return of the Third Reich undead in Call of Duty: Black Ops is a certainty; the game’s official BradyGames strategy guide has been found include pointers on how to successfully “fight back the relentless Nazi Zombie horde”; that and a teaser site filled with the flesh eaters leave little to the imagination.

Speculation on a Zombie-related mode’s comeback has been hot and heavy ever since a GameStop employee unintentionally revealed (via a readily-available in-store pamphlet) that four World at War Zombie maps reworked on Black Ops‘ game engine would be packed into its Hardened Edition. The maps were said to offer $15 value, suggesting they may be released as paid downloadable content later on.

Treyarch and Activision have been keeping quiet and are yet to officially confirm anything one way or the other.

We’ll take the screen full of the glowy-eyed buggers above as confirmation for now though.
