Don’t listen to the latest Xbox One backward compatibility rumors

Xbox chief Phil Spencer has once again shot down a Call of Duty: Black Ops II rumor.

A recent rumor had been circling the internet that led the optimistic Call of Duty fans to believe that Black Ops II may be coming to the Xbox One’s backward compatibility program next week. However, Phil Spencer felt it was his (call of) duty to make sure hopes were not raised.

As I’m sure your delusional Call of Duty friend may have pointed out to you by now, this could mean that the much-requested Call of Duty: Black Ops II may arrive this week. We wouldn’t put our money on it, though.

Hopefully, the game will arrive soon, though, so we can put all this behind us.

I hope to GOD this game becomes backwards compatible. It is by far my favorite Call of Duty.

Daniel I'm actually glad about this, I absolutely hate Bo2 many people will disagree with me but that's just my opinion, I'd like to see mw3 or mw2 on bc or remastered.(probably won't happen)


I agree with you as well. I didn't really enjoy Black Ops 2 as much as other Call of Duties so I too am glad.

I fr hope they don't bring it back compat. Remaster it. I don't wanna be playing with cheaters on that game.

I enjoyed Black Ops 2 but i didn't think it was that great for it to be the most requested game. But hey, shows how much my opinion matters. If this truly does come to BC. I wouldn't mind picking it up again.
