The three new additions, announced on Twitter by Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, are TimeShift, Assault Heroes 2, and Commanders: Attack of the Genos. Again, nothing to write home about, but they all notched higher than a 70 average on Metacritic, putting them squarely into the realm of good, if not great, games.
The most well-known of the bunch is probably TimeShift, a first-person shooter that spices things up with the ability to slow down, stop, and rewind time during combat. It’s the sort of experimental gameplay that was all the rage back in 2007.TimeShift, Assault Heroes 2 and Commanders: Attack are coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility today https://t.co/qPMRNrLoTQ pic.twitter.com/65fjuikPxp

The other two games were both originally Xbox Live Arcade titles. Assault Heroes 2, the best reviewed of the three new games, is a top-down, arcade-style twin-stick shooter, while Commanders is a turn-based strategy game with art deco stylings.
