Prey PC requirements and console file size revealed

PC players looking to get the game to just run will require an i5-2400, a GTX 660, and 8GB of RAM. However, to run the game well, an upgrade to a i7-2600K, a GTX 970, and 16GB of RAM is required. Read the full specs below:

Minimum
CPU: Intel i5-2400, AMD FX-8320
GPU: GTX 660 2GB, AMD Radeon 7850 2GB
Memory: 8 GB

Recommended
CPU: Intel i7-2600K, AMD FX-8350
GPU: GTX 970 4GB, AMD R9 290 4GB
Memory: 16 GB


In terms of hard rive space for console owners, PlayStation 4 players are going to need to clear 42GB of space, while Xbox One players only need 38GB of space.

For those still on the fence about the game, the Prey: Opening Hour demo is available to download for free right now on consoles.

Prey officially launches May 5th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Glad its already able to handle on xbox one, the on downside to PC gaming is having to always change hardware

This game dropped today and I didn't get the chance to cop it after work. Definitely going to have to go out tomorrow and pick it up.

My pc could run this game no problems but I'll probably just get this game for console.

The demo was pretty fun it reminded me of Bioshock and Mirror's Edge. It's bit more challenging and some missions you will be completely lost. I like it but not worth $60 I probably pick it up when the price drops.

still not feeling this game, for something that wasn't the best on early it can't be much better after initial launch.
