Call Of Duty: WWII Gets PS4 Pro Support, Special Pre-Order PS4 Theme

The news for Call of Duty: WWII continues to pour in today, as Sledgehammer Games has confirmed a couple of new details about the game that PlayStation 4 Pro owners will want to take note of.

First off, the developer has confirmed that the game will have support for Sony’s latest console. However, it didn’t quite note how it would support it. Considering that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has 4K-supported visuals, however, it should be something along those lines. In other words, it’ll look better than most other formats if you’re running into on the PS4 Pro.

In addition, Sony has reiterated that pre-orders for Call of Duty: WWII are now live on the PlayStation Store, and those that jump in will get a cool little bonus for their troubles. Those of you who order either the regular edition of WWII (for $59.99) or the Digital Deluxe Edition (for $89.99) will be able to download a special pre-order theme for your PlayStation 4, starting today. It depicts a group of soldiers standing on a battlefield, as bullets are whizzing right past them. The team at Charlie Intel has posted a sneak preview of how the theme looks, which you can see below.

Petrucci Glad I have a pro, Looks a shit ton better in 4k! Even if its only checkerboard 4k, still looks amazing.

it isn't in native 4k, they even said it is 4k visuals not native res. Meaning the graphics will likely be upscaled a lot like most console games are already.

I'm probably the only one but I dislike all the exclusive bs. Especially things like early access to play station over Xbox. It's not gonna make me want to switch to playstation, only wait longer to play the company's beta/game/DLC. Only reason why I play Xbox is the controller. Couldn't care less about friends if they switched, there's a reason why you can add friends.

Now if PlayStation is paying big to do that then it's chill cause businesses have to try and be businesses, but for Xbox and PC, it's just a nuisance. And from activision and sledgehammers angle, it just makes them wait longer to make money off the other console and PC players. So I guess what I'm wondering is why PlayStation would pay to do this if players don't give a shiza about switching consoles just to get in early on some games. Always wondered this since I first saw exclusivity between consoles so if someone wants to enlighten me?
