The new features include adding previously announced co-streaming to Xbox’s recently rebranded streaming service, Mixer, and linking controllers to specific accounts.
Co-streaming sounds intuitive, as you can start a stream right from the Xbox Guide menu, and then invite players in your party to co-stream. However, at this moment, co-streaming is still in the testing phase and is only available to Alpha Insiders, so you’ll need to find other Alpha Insiders to try out this new feature.
The new controller linking feature is useful if you share an Xbox with someone else. This feature allows you to link your controller to your account, so every time you turn on your controller, it will automatically sign you in, even if your roommate, for example, was the last user signed in.
Xbox also added more details to your profile, so that your account will now be listed under your profile. Of course, you still have the option to disable this feature.
