The next version of Microsoft's long running Xbox line of video game consoles is named Xbox One X. It costs $500, and launches November 7.

Microsoft detailed the new console during a press briefing in Los Angeles. The Xbox One X looks strikingly similar to the Xbox One S (Microsoft's previous console), but is notably smaller.

It's capable of powering 4K gaming — the next step up in graphical fidelity after HD — as well as 4K Blu-ray discs. It's got "six teraflops" of processing power, which means it's far more powerful than the current models of Xbox One and PlayStation 4 — even the new, more powerful PlayStation 4 Pro.

This price is way too much, They should not charge that high, Its hard for people to spend $500 on a console, Let alone people living off of $500, You need a good job to afford a console from Microsoft. I think they are to pricey on their consoles.

Waiting for the forza 7 bundle. Then will try to trade in my forza 6 console for it lol, or sell it if they try to give me the same amount they would for a normal Xbox one. I mean at least $25 more would do

Looks slick but I thought they'd go for a more distinct design considering the hype, the only real noticable difference is the size and vents.

It's absolutely crazy the size difference for this compared to the one. A liquid cooling system seems great also
