Call of Duty: WWII Private Beta begins August 25 on PS4

Activision used Sony’s E3 2017 press conference to show off new Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer gameplay check it out below. Those who pre-order Call of Duty: WWII will receive get private beta access. So far, we know that a PS4 beta will begin on 25 August. It’s unclear if other platforms will offer similar betas.

We’ll have more on Call of Duty: WWII as it’s made available. The game heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 3 November.

BETA Weekend 1: PS4 Only
Starts: August 25 at 10AM PT
Ends: August 28 at 10AM PT
BETA Weekend 2: PS4/Xbox One
Starts: September 1 at 10AM PT
Ends September 4 at 10AM PT

Obviously gonna need to enter a code to play the beta since it's a "private beta". If it were public, anyone could download it from the online store.


Hopefully, they make it open towards the end of the beta. It could work in their favor if people who were not 100% committed to have a chance to see if they will like it.

Shegan Why do they always lock beta's behind pre orders. Its as if they are saying you have to buy the game first then you are allowed to sample it. And before someone mouths me off saying that beta's are to stress test the servers and find bugs in the game wouldn't it make sense to let as much folk in as possible instead if having them pay for the privilege.


How do you figure.....? Just pre-order it and play the beta, if you don't like it just cancel your pre-order...... Not that difficult.

I remember when Xbox used to get things like this and DLC early. Since I have an Xbox looks like I have to wait. Looking forward on watching gameplay though.
