The June Update is set to drop Tuesday, June 20th, with multiplayer going down for approximately two hours on every platform while it is implemented. The update will roll out at different times for each platform, listed below:
PC- 12:00 a.m. PT
PS4- 2:00 a.m. PT
Xbox One- 4:00 AM PT
Official patch notes are not yet available, but they are expected to drop in tandem with the update. Players can get a good idea of the changes and content coming in the update through recent changes to the game’s Community Test Environment. Aside from gameplay tweaks and the introduction of the Nivelle Nights map, fans can reportedly also look forward to Frontlines mode compatibility for the original game’s Argonne Forest and Amiens multiplayer maps.
A second night-only multiplayer map, Prise de Tahure, is also playable on the game’s CTE, but it won’t be dropping for the full game until the July Update, expected as part of a new night-only Operation mission. Both night-only multiplayer maps are currently set to be exclusive to Premium members or those that picked up the They Shall Not Pass expansion.
In other Battlefield 1 news, the official reveal trailer for the game’s upcoming In the Name of the Tsar expansion was shown off during the recent EA Play 2017 event, confirming its release for sometime in September.
