Microsoft Explains Why Gamers Should Buy Xbox One X Over The PS4 Pro

The Xbox One X may be far more powerful than the PS4 Pro- but the PS4 Pro has the benefit of being cheaper, with more games supporting it, and the backing of the PS4’s exclusives library. So why would the average customer pick up the more expensive Xbox One X?

Speaking to EPNdotTV after E3, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg tackled that question head on. “Well, I’d say if you want true 4K gaming, it requires 6TFLOPs of power, we have 43% more graphical power, over 60% more memory we make available to developers,” he said. “But the most important thing is, whether you’re a hockey fan, a racing fan, an RPG fan, whatever game you want to play, it will look and play better on the Xbox One X, because we bring significantly more power to the table.”

Which is a sensible stance to take- but will I want to spend $500 to play games I already can play, but with more lines and dots on my screen? I would not, and my PS4 is more than enough for me in such a case. But maybe you feel different? Let us know in the comments section below.

buying it either way, I won't personally buy a PS4 again probably due to personal reasons, I much prefer the xbox & they're bring out amazing games I want to try sooo

I think the editor of this article is perfectly in the lines of presenting unbiased information. The first two paragraphs explore the power of the Xbox One X to the Pro and you can clearly tell that he didn't change/manipulate the information to favor the Pro. In the last paragraph, he simply gave his opinion and wanted to know what others thought.

Kudos to editor, didn't take away from the post ( in my opinion ).

I feel like the companies are supporting the console war instead of trying to unify against the glorious PCMR.

How would console companies try to unify against PCMR? PC and Consoles are two different play styles. Most console players will try and shit on a PC because mouse and keyboard or they think they need some 2k+ system to play games and of course people who think you need to upgrade every time a new piece of hardware comes out. Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo could all come together and work on games and consoles together and the whole Console vs PCMR would still be a thing due to the consumers.

What it boils down to is consoles are for people who like consoles and for the most part a casual gaming environment.
PCs are more for people who like being able to do what they want with their hardware and are more aimed for competitive play styles. Just people from both sides can be cucks. PCs are stronger than consoles, that's just a straight up fact, but console players will still try to argue how it's not and all this other shit. Some PC players have a huge ego about owning a PC. ect. ect.
