PlayStation trophies are getting a small but helpful improvement

Sony has made a small but nice quality of life improvement to the trophy system.

Beginning today, all trophies will sync much more quickly on the PlayStation 4, so you won’t have to sit there and wait for your trophy information to update.

Sadly, while syncing to the server should be noticeably faster, it still won’t be an instant process. You’ll need to enter the trophies section on the menu in order to refresh the trophy page and cause the sync to trigger.

The European PlayStation Twitter account confirmed that the update will be appearing on the PlayStation 4, but it’s still unclear whether or not the improvement will also appear on the PlayStation 3 or PS Vita.
