The conclusion to the Mount Chiliad Mystery was an incredible letdown, if only because of how much time forum-dwellers and code-divers spent trying to figure it out. That being said, if you want to retrieve an alien egg in Grand Theft Auto Online for yourself, you can do so without having to hack the game.

It’s easy to trigger the mission, but it might take you a little time. In order to get the alien egg mission, you must have completed at least 600 supply runs, which were added in the Gunrunning update.

But you won’t be instantly rewarded for reaching that milestone with a trip to a crashed UFO. The mission will randomly trigger when you start a supply run, so you never know if the next mission will be your close encounter with the third kind or not. On top of that, after all that effort, you can only play this mission once.

If that doesn’t sound like it’s worth it to you, we don’t blame you. Instead of wasting your time to play an incredibly simple mission you can only trigger once, you can always watch someone else play it.
