Everyone’s having a bit of a hard time working out how damage modeling works in Gran Turismo 5 at the moment. Some think it unlocks as you level up while others say it only applies to specific cars. To make things clearer clear things up, Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi has tweeted that ”mechanical damage options will be implemented in a new update for GT5 coming “early December”.

That means another patch later this month, then.
