July was a pretty hot month for digital games on the PlayStation front, but, in the end, Activision’s Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy had no trouble ruling the roost.

Sony reported its download numbers for the month of July, indicating that the classic hero’s trifecta of remastered adventures took over the number one spot, with a large amount of digital orders for the game.

As for the remainder of the top ten list for PlayStation 4, there were a few sale items that made the cut. For instance, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor – Game of the Year Edition, which was priced as low as $3 at one point, took the second place position, followed by God of War III Remastered (which was also marked down to $9.99), Friday the 13th: The Game and Rocket League. Grand Theft Auto V remained in the top ten as well, alongside Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition and the recently separate released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

Meanwhile, over on the PlayStation 3 side of things, The Last of Us continued to be the top seller for that platform, while two God of War games – Ascension and Collection – took second and third, respectively. Shadow of the Colossus and Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition rounded out the top five.

Finally, over on the PlayStation VR, indie favorite Superhot VR took the number one position, followed by Arizona Sunshine and PlayStation VR Worlds.
