Call of Duty: WWII’s most interesting addition is missing from beta
First, Sledgehammer confirmed that modes Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint will be playable across “at least three multiplayer maps”—Pointe Du Hoc, Ardennes, and Gibraltar—during the beta. The fourth multiplayer mode, War, which is Call of Duty: WWII‘s new objective-based six-on-six mode, will be playable as Operation Breakout, which takes place “across the war-torn village of St. Lo, France.”
A recent cover story on Call of Duty: WWII in Game Informer‘s September issue gave us a brief look at Gibraltar, which will pit players against each other in what looks like a massive military outpost perched on a cliff facing the coast. A promotional video accompanying the cover story shows off a few seconds of gameplay on the map, which will feature large artillery installments and control rooms that players can use for cover.
A more in-depth look at the few seconds of footage in the video also revealed some of the weapons we can expect to see in the game’s multiplayer. The recently confirmed PPSh is briefly seen shredding through a Nazi on the snowy, trench-heavy Pointe du Hoc. Two other guns that we haven’t seen before—the STG-44 and the Type 100—are also spotted in the promotional video. In addition to the new weapons, a small icon at the top of the screen revealed that weapons will have a progression system as well, as a player is seen achieving Weapon Level 3 with the PPSh.
While Headquarters, the new social space that Sledgehammer is introducing in Call of Duty: WWII, will not be available during the multiplayer beta, the Game Informer story also revealed some new information about it. Specifically, the 1v1 mode that’s accessible through Headquarters, Battle Pit, will include boxing as one of its modes, and will include a system in which players can spectate matches and vote on the winner (via PVP Live).
Headquarters will also reward players who prestige in the game’s multiplayer but not only be awarding a medal in front of the rest of the players hanging out in Headquarters, but they will also gain access to a VIP area, though details about the content of the VIP area were not given in the Game Informer story.
One of the new additions that will be accessible during the beta, however, is Call of Duty: WWII’s replacement for the Create-a-Class system, Divisions. The game’s five divisions—Infantry, Expeditionary, Airborne, Armored, and Mountain—will be available for players to try and will include some basic soldier progression, which could explain the above-mentioned weapon leveling system that was briefly spotted. Player progression, according to the blog post, will allow players to unlock weapons, scorestreaks, equipment, and Basic Training skills, which are the player abilities specific to each Division.
Call of Duty: WWII‘s private beta will run August 25th-28th for PlayStation 4 and September 1st-4th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, players who would like to access to beta first need to pre-order the full game to receive an access code.

It's a beta remember that. people always try to hate on anything regardless of what they do, I see people hating because SnD is never in the beta, but they're limited to what gamemodes they add, TDM etc. .. those are gamemodes that anyone can play and doesn't take much skill lol

Headquarters does sound interesting, it's a shame we can't get a taste of it in the beta.
