Forza Motorsport 7 is one of the most high profile Xbox One release this year. It is part of the mainline Forza game and considered one of the most prominent releases for the upcoming Xbox One X with its native 4K support along with 4K textures for Xbox One X and PC.

Turn 10 Studios has recently shared an update on the status of the download size for the game and it has managed to come closer to the earlier estimate of the download size, which was listed on the official Windows Store.

According to Turn 10 Studios, Forza Motorsport 7 will come on a single disc requiring 45 GB hard disc space. The rest of the game will have to be downloaded in the form of a gigantic day one patch weighing in at whooping 50 GB. The total size for the game that is required on day one is 95 GB. This makes it one of the largest game at launch on the Xbox One, but not necessarily the largest game ever.

urn 10 Studios has also shared some new details on the the post-launch updates for the game including the release of the 4K update for the Xbox One X. Some of the post launch updates will focus on Forzathon, New Rivals & Hoppers w/Homologation feature, New Prize Crates, Updates to Specialty Vendor. Xbox One X will also get 4K update on November 7th although there is no download size revealed for it.

Forza Motorsport 7 will launch on September 29th for the Xbox One and Windows 10.
