It used to be that trailers would just release on their own, but thanks to the never-ending hype machine that surrounds almost every video game launch the trend of releasing a teaser trailer of a trailer has become all the more popular. Today, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus received a teaser trailer in preparation for a gameplay trailer that will be released tomorrow.

The twenty-second teaser trailer begins with a tattered American flag accompanied by the sound of marching and a narrator saying: “You wanna strike fear in the Nazis? You wanna cause some real havoc with em’ you’ve come to the right woman.”

The trailer then quickly jumps to a tease at gameplay as William J. Blazkowicz picks a fight with a Nazi mech. We then get the title of the game and the release date for the full gameplay trailer: September 19. The full trailer, gameplay trailer #2, will release tomorrow at 10 a.m. EDT.
