Bungie had previously tweaked the game so that players would be unable to see the questionable iconography out in the game world, but the latest update removed it from all aspects of the game, including menus. Now that the final fix is live, we can see at what the fully implemented replacement design for the gauntlets looks like.

As you can see, anyone hoping Bungie would replace the design with something cool and new will probably be disappointed. In place of the fairly intricate (albeit accidentally un-PC) pattern, we’ve now got… pretty much nothing. As far as quick fixes go, this is probably one of the least imaginative we’ve ever seen.
Hey, at least now you can rock lime green sleeves without having to worry about accidentally pledging your allegiance to white nationalists. That’s not a bad silver lining!
In other Destiny 2 news, the first round of the Trials of the Nine recently wrapped up, allowing us to see some of the neat-yet-horrifying perks available to anyone skilled enough to make it through the PvP challenge flawlessly.
Destiny 2 is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A PC version launches October 24th.
