WWE 2K18 has the same release date for both PC and consoles

Ideally, video games should launch across all platforms on the same time, so PC gamers don’t fall behind their console siblings. Sadly, we live in a less-than-ideal world where release dates can be delayed for all kinds of reasons. Thankfully, the WWE games are tired of this trend as well. Not only is WWE 2K18 getting a Nintendo Switch edition, but in a series first, the PC and console editions will arrive on the same date.

On launch day, both standard and deluxe editions of WWE 2K18 will launch on Steam and traditional console retailers. The only thing PC preorders won’t get is the four-day Early Access Deluxe Edition perk, but they’ll still have access to the two versions of Kurt Angle. Everything else matches, from the season pass to the playable John Cena rival characters. It may be a small detail within the games industry, but considering WWE 2K hasn’t done this before, it’s a welcome surprise.

WWE 2K18 launches for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 17, 2017. Now if we could just get that Nintendo Switch release date…

RepBandit I wish all companies would release their games all at the same time. I hate that other consoles get a jump start on others on games. Pretty irritating especially if you own both

Not a game I'm even slightly interested in trying out. WWE games are always boring to me, Never understand how people enjoyed them.

Won't be a lot different then consoles. You can still use the same controller on the same game... What's the difference?

What are the WWE games like these days, the last time I played a WWE game was WWE 12 when THQ was publishing it. Are the games basically recycled like FIFA(despite how much I love the game it is true) or do they add new type of matches, like have they included matches like Great Khali Punjabi Prison, is General manager mode back in( I remember doing GM mode with teddy long think that was smackdown vs raw 06 or 07) have they brought back bras vs panties match( PS2 memories there, think that was either smackdown shut your mouth or here comes the pain)
