Xbox One X hides a tiny Master Chief inside

Easter eggs aren’t just for games.

Sometimes you’ll find cool Easter eggs hidden in hardware too. Like in the Xbox One X.

If you’re brave/foolish enough to break open your new Xbox One X you’ll find a cute little doodle inside – Master Chief riding a scorpion. You know, ‘cos the Xbox One X was originally known as Project Scorpio.

MushroomElm I feel like a Master Chief alone would be great for the normal X1X, but that the Project Scoprio should've been the only one with him riding the Scorpion. Puts a more in depth feel the Easter egg. I'm getting the Project S. variant, so I'm very excited :)

There is no "normal X1X". The Xbox one X is the project scorpio. 'Project Scorpio' was just the code name for the Xbox one X.


i think he meant the Scorpio Edition of the console.

Pretty cool easter egg but not something id want to find out for myself and open my new expensive xbox and take the chance of messing something up. I like the touch Microsoft, nicely done

Yes mate, when my console arrives I'm gonna take it apart, and void the warranty just to see a master chief riding a scorpion on the PCB, despite already seeing it in this picture.
