Forza 7 fails to topple FIFA 18 off the top of UK charts

With the arrival of FIFA 18 two weeks ago, the number one spot in the UK retail charts has been effectively locked.

FIFA 18 scored the top spot last week, and the week before, toppling Destiny 2 off the top spot. Forza 7 was the big release last week, but it couldn’t sell enough to dethrone FIFA 18.

Even more interesting, FIFA 18 had a really good second week, stronger than FIFA 17’s, thanks in part to less fierce competition. Forza 7, on the other hand, sold less than Forza 6 in its opening week.

This is a bit of a trend for Forza games. Forza 7, Forza Horizon 3, and Forza 6 all landed in the number two spot in their debut weeks. Back to last week’s charts, Forza Horizon 3 scored a favourable spot yet again at number three, thanks to a hardware bundle.

UK fan base for football is top notch, i didnt see this as a upset as forza didnt catch a chance against fifa.

I'm not surprised. FIFA has become a better game over the years while Forza has slowed down.

I would expect them to topple off FIFA in the UK anyways lol still rather play Forza though

Decy Most likely due to the Forza Motorsport franchise not being as good as it use to. I haven't bothered with them since the 4th..


Well that and it being only on xbox and windows store.

That's good as this year EA have actually bought out a decent fifa with quite a few good new features. One of the best fifas yet.
