First and foremost, Reaper, McCree, Zarya, and Symmetra will all be receiving brand new Halloween-themed skins, while the other characters will receive the same skins that they got last year. In addition to that Genji, Reaper, Mei, Roadhog, Torbjorn, Ana, Reinhardt, and Winston will all be receiving either new emotes or new highlight intros.
To celebrate the announcement of Halloween Terror, Blizzard also released a brand new trailer, which shows off some of the new skins. Halloween Terror officially hit the game today, October 10, 2017, and will run until November 1, 2017, and will of course be available on all platforms.
The event was previously teased earlier this week, when Blizzard released an incredibly short teaser trailer which showed of the new Reaper and McCree skins, as well as the return of the Junkrat skin from last year.
In other Overwatch news, recently a new patch for the game was released, which added a new map, and balanced a few characters.
Overwatch was officially released on May 24, 2016, and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
