The next DLC character to be announced for the Street Fighter V lineup is none other than Zeku - and he's the last one up for additional fighters for season two. The big reveal, and new look at him in action via a new trailer, came courtesy of the South East Asia Major Fighting Event.

It shouldn't be a huge surprise that Zeku has been announced as the final character to join the roster - fans have long since speculated his return, especially when there were leaked silhouettes that made their rounds on the internet earlier. Nevertheless, he's an exciting addition to the fighters available, especially for long-standing fans of the franchise.



Zeku will become available on October 24th. The aging ninja first made his (non-playable) debut back in the 90s during Street Fighter Alpha 2 - and this is the first title since then that he has been a playable character. According to the official Capcom player guide:

"Zeku is the 38th master of the Bushin Ryu martial arts, and is a master of hand to hand combat. He's known as Zeku the Swift during his prime. Now he watches over Guy as he readies him to take over the Bushin Ryu. While Genryusai's Bushin Ryu focuses mainly on ninpo techniques, Zeku decided to take a variety of hand to hand combat attacks and elevated them to the point where they were used in practical situations."

From the gameplay demo above, Zeku looks like he's all about the stealth with a special transformation move that alternates him from a youthful appearance, to that of his more mature nature.
