Not only is it patched out, anyone who used it to exploit the game has also been banned temporarily, for a period of two days, which is something that the game’s director confirmed on Twitter, as well as a user on Reddit. Which, I think, is fair- it could have been a far harsher penalty. Two days for exploiting such a severe glitch is actually pretty lenient.
Call of Duty: WW2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC; as of right now, it is unclear whether the banes extend to the PC version of the game, which has not yet received the new update, too.
