Valve has revealed the winners of its annual The Steam Awards over on the retailer’s front page honoring the best games of 2017, though not in a traditional sense. Unlike most other year-end awards that honor the games that specifically released in 2017, The Steam Awards (which are user-voted) include more of a mix of the new and old, as several titles from the past few years found their way into the list of winners alongside the hot new titles from this year.
Specifically, several of this year’s biggest titles like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Cuphead, and The Evil Within 2 found their way to the top of The Steam Awards, while old favorites like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Stardew Valley, Garry’s Mod, and more were awarded by the Steam Community.
