Razer Announces Battery-Free Wireless Gaming Mouse the Mamba HyperFlux

4.1
Gaming peripheral manufacturer, Razer has announced its newest wireless gaming mouse – the Mamba HyperFlux. According to the manufacturer, when designing the new product, its goal was to create one of the lightest high-performance wireless gaming mice in the industry; with that in mind, one of the essential pieces had to be compromised – the battery.

Although a battery does not power the product, the Mama HyerFlux is functional thanks to a HyperFlux-branded version of Razer’s Firefly mousepad; both products sync together via a magnetic field, which transfers power directly to the mouse. On top of that, the mouse weighs only a mere 96 grams, and for you techies out there, this mouse is 2 grams lighter than the Logitech’s wireless gaming mouse, the G900 Chaos Spectrum.

The Mamba HyperFlux also utilizes the same adaptive frequency technology featured in Razer’s other wireless gaming mouse, the Lancehead. Additionally, the product also features a 16,000 DPI 5G optical sensor, nine programmable buttons, 1000 Hz polling rate, as well as Razer Chroma RGB lighting.

For more information on the new product, check out a few screenshots below this article. Currently, the Mamba and Firefly HyperFlux will be sold as a bundle for $249.99. Although no release date has been officially announced, Razer has stated that the product will be available on its official website as well as several third-party retailers sometime during Q1 2018.
