Kinect is actually quite successful, don't know where you got your source about it supposedly not doing good, cause it must be a crap source.
Yeah, if you have friends and family then Kinect is the best thing to game on EVER! Kinect sold a sh1t load in the 1st month

Kind of a waste if you ask me. They should just work on making a new Kinect device with the on-board processor they removed.

This can be possible but this means the xbox in 2011 must be bigger with a compartment for the kinects motorised motor for it to be able to move.
