Sea of Thieves Gets New Trailer to Celebrate the Start of the beta

Today Rare and Microsoft released a brand new trailer for its upcoming shared-world adventure game Sea of Thieves.

The trailer celebrates the opening of the closed beta (pun not intended), and it’s rather funny, showing footage of the game and telling whether you’re in or you’re out depending on your pre-order or whether you were in the technical alpha.

If you’re out, looks like the only way to get into the closed beta is to pre-order the game. Otherwise, you may have to wait until release unless an open beta is announced some time down the line.

Incidentally, the closed beta is having issues at the moment, so the celebration is just a tad premature, but we still get the trailer.

Mikey Sucks that i missed the beta, but ill probs end up getting this game anyway, as it dont look half bad.

Hopefully you had another chance this weekend to give it another go since they released to the community another closed beta for scale testing.

im disappointed I never got to try out the beta since I didnt want to spend the money to pre-order it. Now ill just have to wait for it to official come out but im not mad, i believe its going to be a great game.

Sucks I didn't get to try out the beta but I will definitely be getting this game when it releases, it seems like it would be a whole lot of fun from what I have seen.
