Assassin’s Creed Dynasty May be the Next Assassin’s Creed Game- Rumor

Assassin’s Creed managed to make a comeback after increasingly poor showings that led to declining sales, critical reception, and interest in the series with Assassin’s Creed Origins last year, an open world action RPG that was a complete rethinking of the series from the ground up.

One of the big reasons that the game was as successful as it was, at least at first, was because of the setting- Ubisoft went to ancient Egypt, which was a setting fans had been demanding from the series for a while now. And it looks like for its follow up, they will be acquiescing to fan requests again.

According to a report by PlayStation Universe, citing an anonymous source who formerly worked at Technicolor, a studio working on the animation for the game, the next Assassin’s Creed game will be called Assassin’s Creed Dynasty, and it will be set in China- although when in China isn’t clear.

While Assassin’s Creed has previously visited China, it was only in the form of a sidescrolling platforming spin off- a full blown game set in the country should be hugely popular. Of course, I do hope it won’t be coming out this year, but that Ubisoft takes its time with it- attempted annualization of the franchise was what nearly killed it the first time around to begin with.

Ninja I think this will be more than likely to come with a remastered AC3, I hope so anyway.
AC2 was better then 3 so I hope they remaster 2 if they plan to do any at all.


Agreed ezios introduction into the storyline was awesome. Hope Origins is going to be as awesome as I thought.

That would be really dope because I have never played 3 I stopped after 2 so I could catch up on the remastered xD

Xe Being set in China could be good, especially with the samurai warriors Im sure they would add. Origins was a great game but but was so boring when the main story ended


wow, i didnt even think of samurai warriors. A great idea for the big guys they usually use for their other assassins creed. Being set in China can have so many opportunities for storyline, gear, enemies, etc. Cant wait to hear more about this.

they make these games so fast but for some reason they turn out so good like origins (imo). being set in china sounds really interesting though.

Haven't enjoyed any of the recent AC games. I think the last one I even sort of enjoyed playing was Revelations or Black Flag. I buy them every release hoping they're good. Hopefully Dynasty can live up to the old games.
