Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Announced - Trailer

Today Activision announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 or Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII as the logo stylizes it. And yeah, that’s not how you write “4” in Roman numerals, but who am I to judge.

The game will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Of course, it’s in development at traditional Black Ops studio Treyarch.

The game will launch on October 12th and a full release is scheduled for May 17th. The announcement also promises that the game will “revolutionize” the Black Ops series and “represents a game-changing experience.”

It’s worth mentioning that some rumors have been floating around mentioning a Switch version, but no mention is made of Nintendo’s console in the official press release.

Disappointed in the repeat of logos for the series but still, really excited for this game. Heard its near future setting so glad its something modern rather than the past or the future.

I mean honestly, im barely excited. Havent been since advanced warfare, But hopefully provided theres no jetpacking shit, it could have potential. However, There are other amazingly good games releasing this year too so it could be a decent year :)

If you look at the logo another way it sorta looks like a box. Also what i saw from the teaser with all the flashbacks of all the different black ops games leads me to think this game could be some sorta combined version of all 3 if so it would make sense for it to be set in the modern day as they have never done it before and its also basically in the middle of the black ops timelines as a whole. Would also make sense if this is the last black ops as it would be a nice way to round everything off i can't imagine treyarch will keep the blackops series going for much longer if the case. So if it really is what i think its gonna be this will be one of the best call of duty's we will have seen in years.
