Developer Epic Games has announced that Fortnite is now available to all iOS users on either iPhone or iPad, after previously being available only to users with an invite to the mobile release’s beta.
Alongside the game’s public release on iOS, Epic Games also specified in its announcement that the mobile version of Fortnite is compatible with iPhone SE, 6S, 7, 8, and iPhone X, while iPad Mini 4, Air 2, 2017, and iPad Pro users will be able to play the game. However, Epic also specified that the game does not support iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus, iPad Air, Mini 2, Mini 3, or iPod Touch.
The mobile version of the game will also be coming to Android sometime down the line, though Epic has not given specific info about its Android release just yet. However, given the game’s already huge playerbase on consoles and PC, it’s only a matter of time that we’ll see the Battle bus make its way over for Android users to hop into the Battle Royale.
Fortnite is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and iOS.
