At last year’s E3, Microsoft revealed that original Xbox games would be coming to the system’s backwards compatibility program. They then released the first wave of original Xbox titles later that year. Many were wondering when more titles would come, so today, during an Inside Xbox livestream, Microsoft confirmed several new titles were coming to backwards compatibility, including personal favorites like Star Wars Battlefront II, Jade Empire, and Blinx: The Time Sweeper.

In total, nineteen original Xbox games will be coming to Xbox One during the month of April. They games will even receive noticeable visual enhancements when played on these newer systems. According to Microsoft, games will have 4-times the pixel count on the base Xbox One and Xbox One S, while Xbox One X owners will be able to play the games with 16-times the original pixel count.

As is the case with all backwards compatible games, these enhanced titles can be played by inserting the original disc or by being purchased in the Microsoft Store. These original Xbox titles will be coming in two waves. The first wave, which hits on April 16, will consist of the following eight titles:

Blinx: The Time Sweeper
Breakdown
Conker: Live & Reloaded
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
Hunter: The Reckoning
Jade Empire
Panzer Dragoon Orta
SSX 3

Meanwhile, the following eleven games will be playable on Xbox One on April 26:

Destroy All Humans!
Full Spectrum Warrior
Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
MX Unleashed
Panzer Elite Action: Fields of Glory
Star Wars: Battlefront
Star Wars: Battlefront II
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
Star Wars Jedi Starfighter
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
Star Wars Republic Commando

Personally, I am elated to see many of these original Xbox titles get new life breathed into them on Xbox One. Star Wars: Battlefront II is my favorite game of all time, and Jade Empire, Panzer Dragoon Orta, and Blinx: The Time Sweeper are all great titles, so I definitely don’t think players will find a shortage of good original Xbox games to play on their Xbox One by the end of April.
