PC Version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Will Have Uncapped Framerate & 4K

Activision and Treyarch gave us some new details on the upcoming first-person shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Among the announcements made at the live community reveal event — which included the inclusion of a battle royale mode — was how the game will be supported on PC.

Similarly to Destiny 2, the PC version will be accessible through Blizzard Entertainment’s Battle.net client. Treyarch and Beenox are collaborating with Blizzard to bring in the client’s social systems, security, and server stability to the multiplayer-focused experience.

According to the press release, the game will have uncapped framerates, 4K resolution and HDR support, and allow you to customize its visuals in accordance to your hardware. You will also have the ability to fully customize your controls or choose between pre-set options.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was initially revealed back in March with a little teaser trailer. Just today, we learned that the game will not have a traditional single-player campaign but will contain narrative elements in its modes. The three modes that were revealed were its tactical-focused multiplayer mode, the return of the undead with Zombies, and the battle royale mode known as Blackout.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 12. You can pre-order the game now and get access to the private beta.

That is a flat out lie! Nobody? I still play them! There you go, just completely ruined your argument of "nobody" playing the campaigns. I honestly feel as if I won't get the most out of my money with this, it seems like I am getting less for more. I love the Call of Duty campaigns, beating each one since Call of Duty 3. The Black Ops campaigns and the Modern Warfare campaigns were marvelous. I don't want to pay money for a game that is solely based on multiplayer. I play multiplayer, trust me, I do. But I love the single player and campaign experience the yearly franchise brings. I hope the other studios(infinity ward, and sledgehammer) don't follow suit with this. And I hope other game devs. don't follow this idea too. I don't want to be in a community that is solely based on multiplayer, and I don't want a game that is solely based on multiplayer and online play.


I think the idea is that the main reason people buy these games is Multiplayer. Obviously.

What are you even talking about do you statistical proof to back that up? A lot of us enjoyed the campaign I actually enjoyed the BO3, 2, 1 campaigns they were really good. But the lack of one in this game seems troubling probably replaced with the battle royale mode because it's the "hottest" thing right now. Which is a shame cause battle royale was garbage even 3-4 years ago before PUBG cant wait for this trash mode to die out.

I totally agree with this the last Campaign I played was Black Ops 2, did not bother with BO3 or WWII Honestly it's great as most people play cod for Zombies or Multiplayer, some do play Campaign and it does suck for those guys but it gives them more resources, more time to work on Multiplayer / Zombies.
