Gears of War 3 Beta Goes Live For Bulletstorm Owners

Hey, Bulletstorm Epic Edition owners! It’s hard to believe, but April is already on us. And today is the 18th. Which means, if you fire up your Bulletstorm Epic Edition disk, you’ll get exclusive access to the Gears 3 beta.

If you play one match this week you’ll also unlock an exclusive Flaming Hammerburst that can be carried over to the full game.

Don’t worry if you were too late to score the Epic Edition. If you’re still wanting to join the beta, you can still pre-order Gears of War 3 for access from April 25-May 15!

If you’re joining the beta today, let us know what you love most about it! Can’t wait to see you in game.

Rambo25 I doubt epic games will ban people from Gow3 because if they do they lose money and plus they made that you have to buy the Gow3 beta so im pretty sure they are 1 bunch of greedy bastards.

you don't have to buy it?

It comes with either expertzone, bulletstorm, getting a code from facebook/twitter, or pre-ordering gow3. The beta is just an added bonus.

Be grateful we're even getting a beta.

QuaNtuMxHosTz yooo whats up with us only having tdm ?

Saturday and Sunday they had other maps like old town and game types like king of the hill and capture the leader. But it was before the beta went live for the public. so if you had the downloaded version from the internet early you got to play other things then tdm.

I got my copy of the Gears of War 3 Beta on Friday.

Ofcourse, I'm a member of Microsoft ExpertZone ;)

I hate to say, I've had the weekend with a few developers/V.I.P's/Microsoft and everything seems to run smoothly.

Obviously they really need to sort out the Gnasher. Yet again killing Gears of War 3 for what it is.

I've also noticed an upgrade in the game engine, and power for the lancer.

With new games modes such as Team Deathmatch and Capture the Leader inwhich I have tried out, I am very impressed.

The other two Maps: Trenches and Oldtown are very fun to play. Each with their own special unique appearance.

Specific Gamemodes such as Capture the Leader and King of the Hill, along with the two maps Oldtown and Trenches will not be available until the Final week, if not, unavailable at all.

So I'm actually rather glad I've got all my 8 characters now; and yet I am dieing to write a review just for the beta alone.

3OH3 So apparently the only weapons in the game now are te shotguns.... Kids these days

Definatally better on week one pre bullet storm release. I was actually able to hammerburst kid but now since all people do is rush with a sawed off/Gnasher I'm dead if I try to use a semi auto that's under powered :(

Plancer is over-powered, shotguns have always been the main weapon(s) in all gows. Your just bad.
