While MLB The Show 18 has been on store shelves since March, the upcoming MLB All-Star game has caused a sudden surge of renewed support for the game. The game’s official price has been lowered to only $39.99, while a brand new All-Star Edition, new PS Plus bonuses, a Stub sale, and new in game rewards and event have been introduced.

Starting today, MLB The Show 18 All-Star Edition will replace the MVP edition on the PlayStation Store, and will only cost $49.99. It gives players instant access to all-star caliber players and gear in some modes, among other things. You can check out the full list of content included within the All-Star Edition below:

Meanwhile, between today and August 7, PS Plus players can get 10 free standard packs to redeem in-game. Then between July 13 and July 24, all stubs will be discounted by 50% on the PlayStation Store.

When it comes to new content, some limited time missions have been added, and completing them nets players All-Star Flashback and Legend athletes to use. The week of the All-Star will also see three online events, which will feature faster-paced gameplay and special lineup building rules.
