Bethesda Game Studios Adds Fourth Office Located Out of Dallas

4.6
To kick things off during QuakeCon 2018’s keynote address, Bethesda Game Studios’ director Todd Howard appeared on-stage to talk about the status of the studio.

Most notably, Howard announced that Bethesda Game Studios has now officially added a fourth office to their group which is located out of Dallas. This new branch, which is formerly known as Escalation Studios, joins the main BGS office located out of Rockville, Maryland in addition to those in Montreal and Austin.

As for what this new Dallas studio is working on, Howard said that they’re currently assisting in the development of this year’s release of Fallout 76. Howard also teased that they are also helping with Starfield, which Howard has previously stated is now in full production.

With four offices at their disposal, it’s easy to see how Howard was able to reveal not only more information about Fallout 76 at E3 but was also able to unveil the studio’s next two projects Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI. Even though both of these titles are still likely years away, their arrival could be a bit sooner than we originally might have expected with this many teams now working on each game.

It's nice to see how structured they are having all those devs working towards the same goal.

Always awesome seeing BGS expanding, at this point I don't think its entirely out of the question. I think Starfield could come out sometime next year. With all the manpower they have.

Cool to see more offices working on fallout 76, hopefully the distance doesn't mean anything with today's technology and we won't have any delays or gamebreaking mistakes
