Cuphead Crosses 3 Million Units in Sales

4
The gorgeous (and nails hard) run and gun side scrolling platformer Cuphead from Studio MDHR has crossed a significant sales milestone. The team announced today on the official Cuphead Twitter account that the critically acclaimed game has crossed 3 million units in sales worldwide, a hugely significant milestone and impressive accomplishment for a small indie game like this- even if had more of a spotlight on it than indie games usually do.

Studio MDHR announced that they will be putting the game on sale on Steam and Xbox One to commemorate this milestone, and also have some giveaways over the next few days (you’ll want to stay tuned to their social media channels if you want to participate). They also name dropped the upcoming big DLC for the game, The Delicious Last Course, though there isn’t any firm confirmation of when exactly we can expect it (a 2019 release date has been previously announced).

If you haven’t played it yet, Cuphead absolutely warrants your attention– it is out now on Xbox One and PC.

Wait, so why are there two articles on exactly the same subject...? Maybe I'm missing something?

OT: That's great to hear. I love this style of animation, I wish more games and movies would take this approach.
