First up is Tomb Raider: Legend, which is now a staggering twelve years old. Goodness. Feels like that game just came out less than five years ago. Anyway, Legend was Lara’s first appearance on the Xbox 360 and originally came out about six months after the 360 launched.
Also joining the program this week is Tomb Raider Anniversary, which originally released back in 2007. For those unaware, Anniversary is a remake of the original Tomb Raider game from 1996 but it features the same engine that was used previously in Legend.
As much as I love the new Tomb Raider games, I’ve never actually played anything prior to the series relaunch a few years back. I’m definitely intrigued by seeing how these older game hold up though so it’s nice to know that I can now revisit them more easily via my Xbox One.
Tomb Raider: Legend and Lara Croft Tomb Raider Anniversary are coming to Xbox One Backward Compatibility today (and both are currently on sale) https://t.co/qPMRNs2ZLo pic.twitter.com/d3RTJMgOiM
